Housing Details
Upon visa approval, the Broadmoor will send more onboarding information to you. The property offers housing at SCP Hotel (2850 South Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906) for the first 25 days of your stay. The HR team makes all temporary housing assignments and only individuals assigned to your hotel room may reside there. Violation of this policy will result in possible eviction and termination of your internship.
Upon arrival, please refer to the lease agreement and housing rules for more information. We cannot arrange for males and females to live together.
Rent at SCP is $160 per paycheck and will be paid through a payroll deduction. Your rent includes a fully furnished hotel room with six twin beds
and one to two bathrooms, as well as access to the fitness center, pool, kitchen, cable, and Wi-Fi. Housing is dorm-style living (6 people to a room, same gender).

Check-in at SCP Hotel starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m.-Make sure to arrange your arrival accordingly if you have elected to live in
Employee Housing for the first 25 days of your program.Please note, you will not be able to request housing after your arrival notification has been submitted. If you decline to live at SCP Hotel you are responsible for arranging accommodations prior to your arrival. After 25 days, you are responsible for moving into alternate housing accommodations.
Keep in mind that transportation is not included; all participants must arrange their own transportation to and fromthe hotel.We recommend bringing enough money to support your living expenses for a period of one month. This amount could range between US$500 and US$1000, depending on your lifestyle.
A list of long term apartment complexes in the neighboring area with contact information will be provided. 2 Bedroom apartments, 4 people per apartment. Estimated 2 miles distance from training site. Towels, sheets and pillows are recommended items to bring. Grocery store, bank, restaurant, pharmacy are estimated 1 mile. Long term apartment rent is an estimated $500 per month, average $500 deposit. Some apartments
offer utilities but not all, utilities can be shared with roommates.

Strongly recommend that you fly into the Colorado Springs Airport.

Transportation from airport, recommended to take taxi or a Gray Line shuttle to The BROADMOOR. If you intend to use Gray Line’s shuttle, you must make a reservation by email at grayline@coloradograyline.com or by calling 001-800-345-8197.

If you choose to fly into the Denver International Airport, you will need to secure your own transportation to your apartment, which is about 75 miles away. (Transportation from Denver to Colorado Springs can be very costly, especially by taxi). There is also a public shuttle, you can visit their websites at for more information and to make reservations.

You will be provided with uniforms, which you will be fitted for, after your Onboarding appointment. The uniform will be cleaned for you free of charge. Uniforms do not include footwear. Please bring black, non-slip, closed-toe shoes. Students who will be placed at the Pool must bring white tennis shoes.
